Pamela Castillo, Secretary Intern

Hi everyone, I'm Pamela! I joined PSA to get more insight into the field of psychology and connect with people who share the same academic interests as me. I chose to do this internship program to continue to grow my passion in the field and connect with new people. My interests consist of traveling, reading, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends! I look forward to being a part of this club and I hope to pursue a career as a Psychiatrist in the future!
Aidan Lee, Treasurer Intern
Major: Biomedical Engineering: Premedical, B.S.
Year: 1st
I love the environment here at PSA; people are welcoming and it's nice to be exposed to others that have the same interests (psychology!). I'm currently thinking about optometry or psychiatry, but to be honest, I'm really not quite sure yet. Hobbies-wise, I am really passionate about art, specifically drawing, writing, and photography. It's so refreshing to capture moments, feelings, and ideas and be able to show them to other people, or just keep them as a memory.
Nico Lee, Treasurer Intern
Majors: Psychology, B.S. and Chicano/a Studies, B.A.
Year: 1st
Hey I’m Nico, one of the Treasurer Interns in PSA. I love to rock climb, weightlift, hang with friends, and read in my spare time. I joined PSA in order to connect with other psychology majors and make new friends since this is my first year at UCI. I chose to do the internship for a lot of the same reasons, but also to gain more insight into what the club does on a day-to-day basis. I look forward to developing over the next several years in the psychology field, with the connections I have made through this club and internship.
Ameera Odeh, Webmaster Intern

I am pursuing a double major in Informatics and Psychological Science. I hope to delve into the ways that technology can influence and improve human behavior and society. I joined PSA this year so that I can make new friends and meet people that share an interest in psychology. I applied to be the Webmaster Intern this year so I can strengthen my organizational skills, work on website building, and enhance my UI/UX knowledge! I am really looking for all of the future events and opportunities and I can’t wait to meet you all!!

Jina Suhr, Marketing Chair Intern
Major: Psychology, B.S.
Year: 1st
Hi my name is Jina and I joined PSA because I wanted to get the chance to make friends with more Psychology majors and receive guidance on classes/research opportunities. After attending a few PSA meetings, I knew I liked the vibes and wanted to contribute to the club as someone more than a general member. I am a huge football (soccer) fan, so in my free time I love watching Premier League games. In terms of career pathways, I want to become a sports psychologist to provide mental health care for athletes. I look forward to getting to know and work with everyone this year!
Emmy Vu, Digital Marketing Chair

Hi I'm Emmy! Outside of school, you'll find me baking, navigating golf courses, immersing myself in video games, and hanging out with friends. Within this dynamic organization, my aspiration is not only to deepen my understanding of psychology but also to forge connections with individuals who share a similar enthusiasm. Through this internship, I am eager to hone my skills and embark on a journey of personal growth. The prospect of expanding my knowledge in psychology is a thrilling aspect that fuels my enthusiasm for the experiences that lie ahead.
Zoya Sheikh, Project Coordinator Intern
Major: Psychology, B.S.
Year: 1st
Hi! My name is Zoya and I’m super excited to be an intern this year! I really enjoy listening to almost every genre of music (except country - sorry country lovers), baking, eating, building legos, watching shows, and shopping! I’m from Austin, Texas and came to UCI to pursue my education in psychology. I’m currently on the pre-med track and joining PSA has been such a huge help for me. I joined PSA to have guidance on what classes to take, job opportunities, good profs, and of course to meet amazing people in the club! I did the internship because I love being in PSA and wanted to get more involved, meet more people, and see the logistics behind planning for club events! Being involved with PSA has given me the chance to make a lot of new friends and memories! I look forward to every meeting, I am always either meeting new people or learning something incredibly valuable or having a blast with my friends; it’s never boring! I hope to see y’all at the next meeting! 🤠
Megan Eng, Project Coordinator Intern
Major: Psychology, B.S.
Year: 1st
Hi I'm Megan! I joined PSA this year to meet others also interested in psychology and learn more about the different pathways one can go with a psychology degree. I love sightseeing, watching dramas, and playing viola! As of right now, I am interested in becoming a physician assistant or another profession in healthcare.
Ivan Barajas, Social Chair Intern
Major: Psychology, B.S.
Year: 2nd
Hi my names Ivan and I’m a second year Psychology B.S major! My favorite actives are going to the beach, eating all types of pasta, and swimming! I’m not 100% on what career I’d like to pursue in the future but I’m leaning towards going to graduate school and pursing psych IO or counseling! I joined PSA to broaden my perspective on the different career paths I could pursue with my degree and to get closer to people with similar interests. I wanted to do this internship to get closer to board members and create a more welcoming environment in PSA! I look forward to meeting many more people and having as much fun as possible in the club!
Lilian Pham, Social Chair Intern
Major: Anthropology, B.A.
Year: 3rd
Hello, I’m Lilian! I’m a person who really likes to try a lot of new things, so I don’t have a hobby in particular, but I do watch V-Tubers a lot! I’m hoping to look into getting into a career as a child therapist, but that’s all subject to change. I joined PSA to connect with more people that have similar career paths as me. I also would like to make new friends, since I came to UCI without knowing anyone. I also decided to partake in internship because I wanted to see the inner workings of the club, as well as develop more skills and insight into PSA and related things in general. I’m really excited for more future events and seeing how my efforts as an intern can intertwine with club activities!
