About: This lab applies evolutionary perspectives to thinking about social behavior, with a focus on understanding how the environments people live in (e.g., how crowded it is, whether one is living with family members, the prevalence of diseases) can shape our psychology, including decision-making, cultural differences, stereotypes, well-being, and relationships.

Research assistants in the lab typically participate in a variety of things, including literature reviews, developing study materials, data collation and entry, and research discussions.

What they look for:

  • Interested in getting more experience in social psychological research, especially from evolutionary and cultural perspectives
