Secretary Intern

Paige Henderson

1st Year - Psychological Sciences, B.A.

Hello, my name is Paige Henderson. I'm really interested in the field of developmental psychology and I am hoping to pursue a job like clinical psychology or neuropsychology. I am from a small town in the central valley of California and I love spending my time reading, at the beach, and trying new things! I enjoy environments that are artistic and creative and one fun fact about me is that I have a twin sister!

I joined PSA to find a community with similar interests and one that could foster a positive and collaborate environment. I wanted to find a club focused on psychology where I could grow professionally as well as expand socially. PSA stuck out to me as soon as I found the club and I wanted to get involved as much as possible because of how kind and helpful everyone was. I look forward to meeting more people and learning more about the club!

Hey! My name is Kiley (she/her) and I'm one of your secretary interns. After my bachelor's, I want to pursue a doctorate in Health Psychology/Neuroscience. Fun fact about me is that I can play 4 different instruments and do voice acting semi-professionally!

I joined PSA because it's an excellent hub for finding resources as a psychology major. The board members are super compassionate and helpful!

Hi, my name is Lili! I'm interested in going to grad school but am still undecided which field of psychology I want to pursue. Outside of class I love to read, play soccer, or grab food with friends! One fun fact about me is that I was born in China and lived in Switzerland for 2.5 years when I was a baby. I can't wait to get to know everyone better!

I joined PSA because I wanted to find a community of other people interested and passionate about psychology! PSA has been an invaluable resource for me to learn more about the different fields of psychology and psych related opportunities. It's been great meeting so many other psych majors and getting to become a part of the PSA community. PSA helps psych majors connect and pursue interests together!

Hi everyone, my name is Wesley! I hope to be a valuable resource for all members exploring their professional opportunities within the psych field! I joined PSA to connect with people with similar passions and career interests; however, what keeps me here are the PSA board and fam heads! Anyone unsure about their psych path should talk with the PSA board! They possess expertise across a wide range of psych fields, making them amazing people to learn from! With the fam heads, PSA is held together through a strong community filled with support, passion, and friendships! So if you’re interested in psychology or just need a community, join PSA!

I'm originally from the Fremont, in the South Bay, and I have a big passion for art and music! Some fun facts about me are that I've maxed out a Spotify playlist (they let you add 10k songs max), I've listened to over 500 albums, and I've created song-guessing web game on my own (shameless plug).

Project Coordinator Intern

Rayann DeGuia

1st Year - Psychological Sciences, B.A.

Hello!! My name is Rayann DeGuia, and I am from the Bay Area. My passion for psychology stems from a drive to understand, support, and uplift underserved communities. I plan to attend graduate school, possibly in Social Work. In my free time, I love crafting and listening to music! I enjoy creating jewelry and press-on nails, and Daniel Caesar is always on repeat. I look forward to learning and growing with you all this year <3

PSA has welcomed me with open arms and provided me with insightful information regarding career paths, opportunities, and navigating UCI. This club is filled with academic, dedicated people who are also friendly and easy to form a community with! If you are looking to form close relationships with like-minded people and learn more about the many realms of psychology (especially if you're unsure of what career in psychology to pursue, like me), then PSA is for you!

Project Coordinator Intern

Gabrielle May

1st Year - Psychology, B.S.

Hi, my name is Gabby! Although I'm still in the process of figuring out what exactly I want to do in the future, I love learning about behavior and mental illness, and I hope to one day work as a psychiatrist. In my free time, I love painting with oils, baking, listening to music on long walks, and I've been dancing ballet lyrical since I was three!

I joined PSA to connect with a community of like-minded people who would inspire and encourage me in navigating my path of psychology, and I found exactly that. PSA is more than just academics, where members genuinely connect, share advice, and support each other. Everyone in PSA has been incredibly supportive and welcoming, which has made this experience all the more rewarding!

Community Service Intern

Kate Magana

2nd Year - Psychological Science, B.A. & Education Sciences Minor

My name is Kate Magana, and my long-term career goal is to become a school psychologist. I plan to pursue graduate school to continue that path after my time at UCI. Growing up with two parents who are teachers, I’ve always valued education and feel inspired to work in school settings where I can support students and my community. A fun fact about me is that I was in a Captain Crunch commercial and have been acting for 18 years.

I joined PSA because the people are genuinely welcoming and supportive, and it immediately made me feel like I belonged. PSA is a great place to network, gain mentorship, and connect with others who are passionate about psychology! I love that PSA offers real opportunities to learn and get involved on campus. Others should join because it’s an amazing way to make friends, build confidence, and feel supported by people who share the same goals as you.

Marketing Intern

Fiona Graham

2nd Year - Social Ecology, B.A.

I am interested in I/O Psychology and hope to get a management minor. I am from the Bay Area and love Irvine/OC. I am half Japanese and travel to Japan every year. My hobbies are doing my nails and collecting sonny angels and other trinkets. Organization and planning are two priorities that I enjoy and have that surround everything in my life.

I joined PSA because I want more experience in the psychology world. I also don’t know too much about psychology related careers and internships so I wanted to gain more knowledge on that. I can already tell that PSA is super welcoming and a tight knit community. It is important to build relationships in college and PSA is one of those ways.

Marketing Intern

Yuma Torigoe

2nd Year - Psychology, B.S.

Hi! I’m Yuma, an Irvine-born Japanese American with a huge love for deep conversations, cafe hopping, and music. As a psychology student, my dream career would be to work in a field where I can support others through empathy and cognitive-behavioral guidance (such as a licensed psychologist or therapist). I am an INFJ with a creative streak, and when I’m not studying, I’m either playing guitar, watching films, or gaming/drawing. My favorite music genres are shoegaze, indie-rock/pop, and R&B💜

This club has been the best way to explore career/research opportunities and meet other like-minded people. From the bonfire event alone, I felt like it was super easy to strike up a conversation with anyone. If I were to ask people to join, I would say that PSA is a great resource for coursework insight, friendships, and career advice, especially with the new fam system.

I hope to learn and grow alongside PSA this year as an intern. I am super excited to meet and get to know everyone!

I joined PSA as a first year to find my community and explore possible career paths related to my major. I stayed because of the welcoming atmosphere that kept me engaged and friendly members who inspired me to get more involved. I love PSA for its fun social events as well as the academic and professional guidance it provides. I encourage others to join to connect with fellow psychology students, build meaningful friendships, gain professional insight, or simply enjoy the social events!

Hello! My name is Olivia Delgado and I’m from San Diego. A few things about me are that I absolutely love baking, spending time at the beach, and trying different DIY projects. My long-term career goal is to become a physician, more specifically working in pediatrics as I really enjoy working with kids. A fun fact about me is that I used to love roller skating, and I’m hoping to get back into it!

I joined PSA to find a space where I could explore psychology outside of the classroom. I’ve stayed involved because of the amazing environment, the people, and the opportunity to grow. PSA provides valuable resources, events, and experiences that truly help every member grow. It truly caters to not only academic, but personal development. Anyone looking to find a club that feels welcoming, and like a true home should join PSA. I truly love PSA and I think everyone should join!
