Details:

Venado Middle School is seeking Instructional Assistants (IAs) for general education or special education. Current positions are at 29 hours a week, approximately 5-6 hours per day.

Our school is unique in that it is not only a diverse Title I school, it also houses several programs on campus, such as our county DHH middle school program, our district Newcomer EL program and BSLC (Behavior & Social Learning and Communication) program. We boast a dynamic and forward thinking staff that has led UDL (Universal Design for Learning) implementation in IUSD, Second Step SEL Curriculum, and an embedded Honors Program to provide equity and access to all subgroups.

Inspire the next generation and gain experience in the classroom setting. Our IAs tend to be local undergraduate and graduate students, PhD students in a related field, parents, and/or community professionals who want to serve our youth.
