Details:
Under the supervision of the Enrollment Operations Coordinator (EOC), the Front Desk Specialists (FDSs) are responsible for the reception duties and office traffic at the SAC. Respond to questions about study abroad opportunities in person and via email communications. Schedule appointments with staff/peer advisors and refer students to other campus offices, resources, and services as needed. Provide administration and various project support to the Study Abroad Center.
Commitment:
Appointment term: The entire academic year → September 2024 through June 2025 or April 2024 through June 2025
Start working Welcome Week: September 23, 2024, or Upon offer.
Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. The EOC will set up a weekly schedule for two FDS to alternate covering the front desk with additional support as needed by Peer Advisors.
Hours per week: 12-15.
Training Week (paid): Details will be provided by the EOC later.
Attend weekly with EOC. Dates/times to be determined.
Will be compensated $16.00 an hour
