Research | Hot Cognition Lab (Dr. Peter Ditto)

Brief lab description: The Hot Cognition Laboratory (HCL) is dedicated to investigating the interplay between emotion, motivation, and human judgment, aiming to understand how passion influences pivotal life decisions and biases reasoning processes while also conducting empirical studies to address contemporary social issues.

There are 3 requirements to satisfy before applying to the lab:

  1.  You must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0

  2.  You must be able to commit at least 6.0 hours per week working on research projects 

  3.  You must notify the lab manager if you will be absent and provide a replacement 

       (e.g., in cases where you have signed up to work with participants, etc.)
