The Behaviors, Emotions, and Affective Neuroscience (BEAN) Laboratory

Description:

- The lab studies emotional and social functioning in people with and without certain personality characteristics (e.g. schizotypy, social anhedonia, detachment) and psychological disorders (e.g. schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder). In order to gain a clearer understanding of underlying mechanisms of (dsy)functioning we use a multimethod approach and employ a variety of techniques (e.g self reports, behavioral tests, EEG, EMG).
