The BEAN Lab studies emotional and social functioning in people with and without certain personality characteristics (e.g., schizotypy, social anhedonia, detachment) and psychological disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder). In order to gain a clearer understanding of underlying mechanisms of (dys)functioning, the lab uses a multi-method approach and employ a variety of techniques (e.g., self-reports, behavioral tasks, EEG, EMG).
