Community Service | Week 1 (Spring 2024)

Basset Hound Rescue

Mission Statement:

To offer sanctuary, healing and placement into a new family to distressed, abandoned, injured or homeless Hounds. We work to raise funds to save as many Hounds as possible and constantly strive to grow our network of volunteers and foster homes.

What will you do?

Volunteers would be asked to help either set up, volunteer at one of the booths, clean up at the end of the event, or help with raffles.

When?

Saturday April 13th from 8 AM - 1 PM

Community Animal Network

Mission Statement:

To provide veterinary medical services for homeless, or "at-risk" shelter dogs and cats; including the financial resources necessary to support the rescuing of these animals.

What will you do? 

You may be tasked with feeding, washing dishes, cleaning, litter box duties, restocking supplies and trash or just playing with the animals.

Requirements:

  • Driver's License 

  • Must be at least 16

  • Committing 16 weeks of volunteering including orientation and training
