Healing Corps


The Healing Corps Program is a volunteer team of crisis intervention advocates who provide support to survivors of sexual violence and raise awareness about all forms of oppression and violence prevention.


Can apply as a Hotline Advocate, Medical Advocate or Legal Advocate; all of these positions have their designated training.

  • Hotline Advocate - Support and provide resources to survivors, their loved ones, and professionals through our 24/7 crisis intervention hotline (remote position). This position requires our 40 hour Sexual Assault Advocate Training.

  • Legal Advocate - Support and provide resources to survivors looking for legal support; advocacy in court rooms, accompaniment to the police station, restraining order support, etc. This position requires a 40 hour Sexual Assault Advocate Training.

  • Volunteers are required to provide 24-30 hours of service on a monthly basis for a year. Shift scheduling is flexible and available from 4 hour to 12 hour shifts. Advocates should have access to a working phone and computer Volunteers are required to check email several times a week for updates and information.
